My buddy just got me into this game, he says he hasnt been able to get anyone into it, and i love it! My favorite starting class is the hacker, just disabling, exploding, and causing chaos is so fun, i cant wait to play the other characters and eventually get into modded!
Personal favourite (playing solo) is dumping ressurection potion into the water filter of the park levels - gives you a lazarus pit. Prefer creating custom classes over the defaults as it allows for a lot more interesting combos in traits to run a character on. Favourite item? Lighter - it has soooo many uses.
I'm so glad someone is talking about Streets of Rogue especially with the open-world sequel coming out! My favorite would probably be Shapeshifter because you literally become the new character Down to being able to utilize the abilities of the possessed character
@@easilydistractedgamesI totally don't create a custom character with possess... 😅 But yeah, even for the original characters I really like Shapeshifter since you can also teleport in toilets to escape danger It's a really hard character for sure, but very rewarding and varied gameplay!
My personal favorite was the assassin for base characters. I made an insanely fun assassin/zombie custom character though. Sneak up, assassinate one guy, let the plague spread.
I played the SoR2 demo, didn't like it, but thought the first game looked interesting. It happened to be on sale for 75% off, so I got it (and the DLC for $1). My most memorable run so far was playing as the comedian. I told a joke, but it offended my audience, which included some cops who decided to try doing an extrajudicial execution on me for the crime of having a bad sense of humor. While running away from them, I knocked on a stranger's door and told them another joke; this one landed much better and was so funny that they decided to sacrifice their life to protect me.
I love this game so much. I have owned and completed it on ps4, Nintendo switch and most recently on my Xbox. If I had a pc I’d probably buy and complete it on that too! 😂
one of my favourtie indie games, i just wish the dlc added more then just more characters to play as, why not new weapons, npcs, pois, zones, secrets, mayhem events....
There's even an unofficial android port, though it's an older version and partially in Chinese (most seems to be in English though). Harder than mouse + keyboard, but pretty playable.

That's amazing. I wish there was an official port, it would make for a great mobile game as I think it works well on the Steam Deck.

i prolly just dont get it, I played thru first level, died and got no currency to progress with, got bored and havent tried it again for awhile.
It is a lot more fun to play with a friend or two. But also the sequel is coming out relatively soon
